Ce numéro thématique de Dynamiques Environnementales s'attache, avant tout, à faire un état des lieux des conflits liés à la géoressource en eau sur le continent africain, à partir d'exemples concrets, bien documentés par une importante cartographie (70 à 80 documents cartographiques). The purpose of this volume is to analyze the microfoundations of knowledge spillovers. The microeconomic analysis of spillovers leads to the insight that the spillover and flow of knowledge is not at all automatic. Instead, this volume suggests that a filter exists between knowledge and its economic application. The focus of this volume is on several key mechanisms that serve to reduce this filter and facilitate the flow of knowledge. In particular, the volume draws on an emerging literature identifying the role of knowledge spillovers to investigate significance of labor mobility and informal networks as mechanisms facilitating the flow of knowledge.

The development of molecules that selectively bind to nucleic acids has provided many details about DNA and RNA recognition. The range of such substances, such as metal complexes, peptides, oligonucleotides and a wide array of synthetic organic compounds, is as manifold as the functions of nucleic acids. Nucleic acid recognition sequences are often found in the major or minor groove of a double strand, while other typical interactions include intercalation between base pairs or the formation of triple or quadruple helices. The 1968 events were profoundly international in character, transcending any one national context and interacting with other movements across the world. Yet the way these events are remembered is often delimited by the national cultural or political experience and is cut off from its broader international dimension. The purpose of this volume is to examine the `memory' of 1968 across different national settings, looking at the cases of France, Germany, Italy, the United States, Mexico and China. How has 1968 been (re)produced and/or contested within different national cultures and how do these processes reflect national preoccupations with order, political violence, individual freedom, youth culture and self-expression? How has the memory of 1968 been narrated, framed and interpreted in different places and in different disciplines? Is there a collective memory of 1968 and does this memory cross national boundaries? By juxtaposing representations of 1968 from across a range of national cultures and by examining the processes by which 1968 is remembered, this book aims to open up the memory of 1968 to a more diverse international perspective, one that more closely reflects the dynamics of the events themselves. May '68 has inspired cultural, social and political movements across the world but has been used also to criticise them. This book interrogates the consideration of the revolts in France as the pinnacle or even paradigm of a particular avatar in a revolutionary lineage that would include the liminal moments of 1789 and 1917.
