Luc-Actes n'est ni une somme théologique ni une collection d'aphorismes. Le sujet de Luc-Actes est, pour le dire en un mot, l'activité sociale du mouvement chrétien à ses débuts. Ses lecteurs y trouvent actions et paroles concrètes de personnages ou de groupes du mouvement chrétien vivant dans un cadre concret historique et géographique. La question concernant le dépassement du cadre de la société juive par le mouvement chrétien est incontestablement un sujet de première importance. Mais le mouvement chrétien, en dépassant le cadre de la société juive, ne dépasse pas celui du monde gréco-romain, malgré sa perspective universaliste. Le but du présent travail est de discerner la pensée sociale exprimée en Luc-Actes. Nous voulons montrer que ce point de vue n'est pas simplement additionnel, mais que le plan habituel d'étude de Luc-Actes est défectueux à cause du manque de perspective sociologique et anthropologique.
